Pam Udell is the founder of Healing Power Yoga. Before taking up yoga, Pam was a personal trainer and aerobics instructor. Her passion for health and fitness led her to receive a Masters in Adult Corporate Fitness/Exercise Physiology. Upon graduation Pam opened a small personal training company and set up fitness programs in apartment buildings throughout the city. After having a recurrence of thyroid cancer, Pam turned to yoga to help her mentally heal. She ended up finding a very powerful inner strength, hence the name Healing Power Yoga. Pam has spent the last 10 years practicing with some of the most knowledgeable instructors as well as every level of yoga practitioner. For beginning and intermediate students, Pam encourages everyone to work in their own comfort zone while guiding them on a soothing journey. For her advanced students, Pam focuses on a soothing journey as well as giving them a challenging class to flow through. Music is an important part of class as Pam feels it sets a tone as well as motivates her students. Pam has 2 amazing boys of whom she is sure one will grow up to be yoga instructor (the other a baseball player) as well as a husband who has been a huge support in her life.
