Wendy Cullitan, RYT Yoga Instructor

Wendy has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and soon came to discover that yoga is not only practiced on the mat, but off the mat as well—bringing her greater clarity, freedom of expression and inner peace in her daily life. Yoga quite simply changed her life. This realization prompted Wendy to become a yoga teacher to share this meaningful, life–affirming practice with other people.

As a teacher, Wendy»s intention is to guide students through an invigorating vinyasa flow practice that helps them connect breath with movement in order to develop flexibility, strength, mental clarity and deep relaxation. Her classes are fun and she teaches to all levels—so students can move at their own pace depending on their energy level and mood on any given day. Her wish for her students is their time on the mat helps to open their mind/body/spirit experience—and that they leave class energized yet relaxed and at peace.

Wendy is certified at the 200-hour level with the Yoga Alliance and has gained additional knowledge from master teachers Todd Norian, Desiree Rumbaugh, Bryan Kest, Dr. Baxter Bell and Sean Corn. Closer to home, she is gratetful for the wisdom and inspiration she has received from Pam Udell, Lourdes Paredes, Wendy Atteberry, Zoe Kaufman and Mac McHugh.

In addition to adults, Wendy especially enjoys teaching teenagers and children. She graduated from Columbia University and has worked in marketing for many years—yoga is an antidote to her busy career and, along with the love of her family, keeps her grounded and at peace.
